Cold Weather Recomendations

With temperatures near freezing, we recommend:

• Leave one faucet on a slow drip overnight so water continues flowing and external pipes do not freeze.

• Wrap the water filter valve (the black head on top of your silver whole-home filter tank) with a towel or blanket — just like you would cover any sensitive outdoor plants — to shield it from frost and cold wind.

These steps help prevent cold-weather damage to both your plumbing and your filtration system.
